Company Information
Scotia Harvest Seafoods is a two-generation fish harvesting company located in the fishing village of Lower West Pubnico on the southwestern shore of Nova Scotia. The company is a true family affair with Jean Guy d'Entremont as the President, his wife Marlene d'Entremont handles the bookkeeping, their son Alain d'Entremont is the company's General Manager, and another son Gilles d'Entremont is Captain of the Léry Charles vessel.
The Léry Charles is a 65-foot fishing vessel, and is the pride of the company. The vessel is named in honour of Jean Guy's father who passed away in 2002 after being involved in the fishing industry his whole life.
The management of Scotia Harvest continues to travel around the world to learn and share information with other members of the global fishing industry. This information sharing allows Scotia Harvest to continue to provide clients with a globally competitive product and superior quality of fish.
